"An hour after my baby boy was born I got my CT results. More across the board shrinkage, the big tumor was down another 50%. Today was a good day and i praise God for that."

:: please pray that the CT results would open up new doors to experimental treatments.

:: pray for wisdom for joe and jess on how to discern sometimes confusing/ conflicting input from the oncology and the integrated disciplines of medicine. the input joe has gotten about nutrition has been helpful and joe has taken great comfort in dr. saab's approach and care as well.

:: pray for supernatural stamina for both jess and joe and for a olympic- like sleeper of a baby! pray for fun sweet times as a family of five!

there are still many opportunities to bring dinners to joe and jess and company. thanks for your prayers and love!

Prayer Requests From 1.7.10

:: jess has been very ill this week with a very painful ear infection. please pray for relief from the pain and her infection to clear.

:: the aebi's (with the exception of joe) have dealt with one sickness after another between jess/gabe/evelyn. thank God for protection over joe and ask that the rest of the aebi clan would have boosted immunity.

:: Pray that Jess would be able to deliver this new baby and all would be healthy. Her due date is right between joe's treatments.

:: pray for more relief for joe's treatment symptoms- especially in light of the baby's imminent arrival. pray specifically that he would have supernatural energy and against fatigue..

:: joe and jess meet with Dr Aukerman this Friday morning. He is the nutritionist Dr. at OSU. Pray that Jess and I would be able to agree on how to use what he shows joe and jess and that they would find his plan manageable and workable in their lives. Also that it would provide real value and improved health in their lives.

:: joe will have another CT will be at the end of January. Please pray for another fantastic result. pray that the chemo would continue to be effective beyond what the doctor's anticipate or hope and that there would be no resistance in the cancer that may stall progress.

the coming week holds a number of notable things for joe and his family. please also note there are additional evening meals available for the later part of december if you're interested in providing for joe and posse in this way. here are some that you can remember in prayer.:

:: joe's fourth chemo treatment will be tomorrow (11.20.09). his brother jeff came into town tol be with joe for the treatment. please pray for effectiveness of the treatment and that joe and jeff would enjoy their time together.

:: pray God would heal joe completely- annihilating every growth and tumor in his body. pray he would grow old with his wife, give away his daughter at her wedding and watch his sons be fathers to their children.

:: joe's has a CT scan next friday 27 nov. this imaging will help determine how well the treatment is working. dr. saab has said a good result would be no tumor growth. so pray for that but ofcourse what we really want is for the tumor to shrink or be gone!

:: pray for a wonderful thanksgiving. full of gratitude, togetherness and love for the aebi/rader family.

:: thank God for the wonderful time @ north myrtle vacation. jess reports that it was a blast and also wonderful to be home as well.

:: thank God for the energy and shorter rebound period joe has experienced after chemo. he has been able to goto work and not had disabling fatigue.

:: thank God for the adjustment in joe's meds that helped with the rebound.

:: please continue to pray joe's red blood cells and resolve his hemoglobin counts (i don't know if this is the right medical terms). joe's hemoglobin needs to improve. pray joe would crave red meat and be able to tolerate it and that the stuff that's in red meat would work to reverse his hemoglobin in a super effective way! * joe's hemoglobin is important b/c it can disqualify people from futher chemo treatment if it isn't in the proper measure. *

:: pray for the physical health of gabe, evelyn and jess. pray their immune systems would be hyper effective to fight off infection. imagine the difficulty to explain to a sick kid why they can't snuggle with dad...

:: pray for baby boy aebi that he would know the blessing of joy and hope his arrival will bring to his family. pray for health and protection over his life.

:: pray for gabe and evelyn- that they would be protected from fear and have an overwhelming sense that they are loved and secure in their family.
