Where Do We Meet On Sundays?

We have renovated a historic church building at 55 E Blake Ave, which was built in 1895 and is now our church home.

Sunday Service:
55 E Blake Ave at 10am

What To Expect At a Sunday Service

Parking / Entry Door

The best place to park on a Sunday morning is on High Street.  It is just a brief walk from High to the main church entrance on East Avenue.  For the handicap accessible entrance, please park in lot on the south side of the church building and use the ramp leading up to the door.  There is a wheelchair lift just to the left as you enter the building.

CVKids Classes

To sign in your child(ren) into their cvkids class(es), please visit our cvkids sign in table on the west wall of the lobby. A volunteer will help you. Learn more >>

We serve fresh brewed coffee each Sunday morning. Grab a cup of coffee or tea on the north wall in the lobby.

Connect Table

If you have any questions, want to learn more about Central Vineyard or would like to get in touch with people in your neighborhood, the connect table is the place for you.  You can find us in the lobby.

Service Outline (10:00am - 11:15am approximate)

Worship with music

We sing to celebrate Jesus’ extravagant love. When we sing collectively, a unique unity is experienced that is nearly impossible to find in any other context. We believe the entire gathering serves as a choir for an audience of one: Jesus! It can be initially awkward, but tremendously rewarding.

Welcome & Announcements

A little information on what is going on and coming up in our church community.

A pastor or invited speaker will share an accessible message based on a passage from the Bible to help you relate with God.

Response Time

At the end of each service we provide opportunities to respond to God.  We respond by breaking bread and sharing communion together.  We respond by engaging in worship. We respond by receiving prayer from a trained member of our prayer team. We believe that God is generous in offering us opportunities to personally experience his love.

After the service feel free to refill on coffee and talk to people at the welcome table. If you have children, please pick them up in their classrooms.

A Church For All Stages Of Life!

CVKids is Central Vineyard’s children’s ministry, a Sunday morning program for children from birth through 5th grade. All of these classes are divided by age and developmental levels so that kids progress through our curriculum with others their own age.

Middle and High School students meet Tuesdays to discuss scripture and pray, serve meals at the Clintonville Resource Center, or hang out over pizza during our monthly game nights.

We endeavor to provide deeper relationships and participation for people through these groups. People often choose a group based on meeting day, time, location, ministry focus, or whether or not childcare is provided. Some people seek affinity groups, i.e. mostly married or single, while others enjoy a mix of life stages that some of our groups offer. We offer brief group descriptions to help you narrow down a group or two that you could try out.
