Dear Central Vineyard,

We're so pleased to announce that we’ve hired a new Ministry Coordinator, Kyla Johnson! Kyla has served with Intervarsity and at Vineyard Columbus for a few years, and she brings warmth, depth, a love for kids and youth, and great energy for community engagement. She will be working 20 hours a week with us, giving particular attention and leadership to kids and youth while also working closely with our team on the church’s diverse ministry needs.

Kyla will start with us the first week of September, and her first Sunday at Central Vineyard will be September 7. We can’t wait for you to meet her, and I know she’s eager to get familiar with our community.

Here’s a little intro from Kyla in her own words:

Hey everyone, I’m Kyla! I’m so excited to be joining the team here at Central Vineyard as the Community Ministry Coordinator. A bit about me – I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as, had the chance of experiencing ministry by being involved in campus ministry through interning with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, and serving with students in 6th-12th grade at Vineyard Columbus. Through my journey, I have come to believe that the people of our city are eager to experience an unfaltering love, real hope and transformational freedom – that of found in Jesus. And so, I am honored to walk alongside you, to love others well in the hope of making earth look a bit more like heaven each day.
